The Holy Archdiocese of Australia expresses its deep sorrow for the passing away of Mr. Agapitos (Jack) Passaris, a prominent member of the Greek Community, as well as of the wider Australian society.
The late Mr. Passaris worked tirelessly for many decades for the needs of Greeks of Australia and for the common good, while he also actively served the Orthodox Church, serving successfully in high positions, such as the President of the Intercommunities Council of New South Wales and the Treasurer of the Consolidated Trust of Holy Archdiocese of Australia.
With feelings of gratitude for his significant contribution to our local Church, we express our sincere condolences to his wife, daughters and other relatives.
May our All-Good and Loving God rest the soul of the late Mr. Agapitos Passaris in the land of the living.
