On Friday, 22 March, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia officiated at the First Salutations Service to the Theotokos, at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of Our Lady in Sydney.
Also present and joined in prayer were His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Miletoupolis and the Chancellor of the Holy Archdiocese, Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne Christophoros Krikelis.
At the conclusion of the service, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia wished a blessed remainder of Holy and Great Lent to the congregation.
