On Tuesday, 26 March, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia had the joy to receive at the headquarters of the Holy Archdiocese, in Sydney, the brotherhood of the Holy Monastery of the Mother of God ‘Pantanassa’, in Mangrove, New South Wales.
The members of the Brotherhood, lead by the Abbot, Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne Father Eusebios, and the Former Abbot of the Monastery, Elder Stephanos Pantanassiotis, paid their respects to His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and received his wishes and blessings for the remainder of Holy and Great Lent.
During the meeting, matters of common interest concerning the Pantanassa Monastery and more broadly the life of the local Church were discussed, while emphasis was placed on the preparations for the reception of the First of Orthodoxy, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, on the fifth continent, this coming October.
