His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, received the visit of the Greek performer Mr. Stathis Angelopoulos at the headquarters of the Holy Archdiocese, in Sydney.
The popular artist, who is currently on the fifth continent for his scheduled concerts in Sydney and Melbourne, visited the Archbishop of Australia to pay his respects and ask for his blessing.
His Eminence welcomed him cordially and they discussed, in a friendly atmosphere, issues concerning the Greeks of Australia, for which Mr. Angelopoulos has a special appreciation and has visited many times in the past, as well as issues related to Greek Culture.
Also, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios informed the artist about the work carried out by the Orthodox Church in Australia, while wishing him success in the planned musical events, in which he will take part, while also wishing him a safe return to the beloved homeland.
