Following the sorrowful announcement of the falling asleep in the Lord of the Late Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Nicolaos Bozikis, the Holy Archdiocese of Australia informs its pious plenitude that the Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, 21 February 2024 at 10 am. at the Church of St. Nicholas, in the suburb of Marrickville, Sydney.
The Funeral Service will be presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
The Funeral Service will be preceded by the celebration of Matins and the Divine Liturgy, from 7:00 am.
On the day before, Tuesday, 20 February 2024, from 6:30pm, at the Church of Saint Nicholas, Marrickville, a Trisagion for the repose of the soul of the late clergyman, Father Nicolaos Bozikis, will take place, presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia. After this, a Holy Vigil will take place while the body of Father Nicolaos lies in state.
The burial will take place in Rookwood Cemetery, Sydney.
