“Every change that takes place in the Church, every appointment and every transfer gives those involved the opportunity to make a fresh start. To start something from the beginning, having the experience of the previous ministry and appointment, in many ways helps to avoid carelessnesses mistakes of the past. So please, and I urge you not to act hastily, egotistically or selfishly. Serve the Church from your new position with love, unity and humility and God will bless you. The new appointments which you take will give you the opportunity to use all your strength and the many gifts you have for the glory of Christ and His Church “.

The clergy received the appointments from His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, and after expressing their thankfulness and gratitude, venerated the hand of their Shepherd and promised to work diligently and with devotion in order to appear worthy of the expectations of the Church and their Archbishop.
