In March 1924, our Holy Archdiocese was founded by the ever-remembered Patriarch Gregory VII of Constantinople and the Holy and Sacred Synod of our Ecumenical Patriarchate, which has now fulfilled one hundred years of life and contribution, struggle and witness, in the Fifth Continent.
For this reason, with the blessing and care of His Eminence our Chief Shepherd, Archbishop Makarios of Australia, the Holy Archdiocese is organising an anniversary musical function titled: “In Honour and Memory – 100 years of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia,” which will take place at the official hall of the Sydney Town Hall on Friday 22nd March, at 6.30pm.
At this event, a musical concert will be presented under the direction of the composer, Mr Leon Vitogiannis. Entry is free for everyone.
All the faithful are invited to honour this anniversary function of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia with their presence.
